The true definition of a vegetarianVegetarians keep the focus on being compassionate instead of worrying about minor ingredients. We are not judgemental about the choices of others. The true meaning of eating a vegetarian diet is not the avoidance of meat or meat products. The heart of this choice is to end world hunger, heal the environment, end cruelty to animals as well as maintain good personal health. Choosing a vegetarian diet is simply a practical, active approach. We are working to to make the world a better place. Avoiding all hidden ingredients can be far too expensive and time-consuming; however, our goal is to alleviate suffering by avoiding meat and meat products to the best of our ability. We make being a vegetarian an affirmation of life, a means to fulfillment and joy. “The best diet is one that connects us to our humanity and helps us feel greateful for the gift of life” ~ John Robbins |
